This website is named after my city lot. Early in my property-ownership, I rented space in my home to help fund updates and repairs. To do this, I had to "brand" my space, and came up with the name Oakdale Oasis. It is quite fitting of a name, as my lot is an oasis within an average semi-urban residential area' there is always something blooming here!

Education & Experience

Northland College

I earned my Bachelors of Science with a consentration in Volunteerism and Community Organizing from Northland College in the late aughts. The education I experienced at Northland has served me well. Throughout my college education, I was able to participate in student governance, spend a semester at a full time off-campus internship, and travel with classmates to protests, volunteer opportunties, and conferences. The variety of experiences availalbe helped prepare me for success.
